Enable Remote Desktop connections
Method 1
- Open a registry Editor : Start -> Run, type regedit in the box and click OK.
- Go to File -> Connect Network Registry …
- Go to HKLM\System\CCS\Control\Terminal Server\
- Change the fDenyTSConnection value to 0
Method 2
- Open a remote command prompt on the computer using PSEXEC
- Type the following command and press enter :
reg add “HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server” /v fDenyTSConnections /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000000 /f
Method 3
This method doesn’t work on Windows XP.
RDTOGGLE isn’t recognized by the system.
- Open a command prompt
- Run the following command :
wmic /node:”<COMPUTER_NAME>.PMINTL.NET” /USER:”username” RDTOGGLE WHERE ServerName=”<COMPUTER_NAME>” CALL SetAllowTSConnections 1
