Update Webroot to v 9.1 for Mac OS Catalina and earlier
Issue
Webroot has informed his business customers that Webroot won’t be upgraded automatically on MacOS Catalina and earlier.
You should either do it manually on each computer or you can us a custom made script made by Webroot Support.
Solutions
Automatic Upgrade
- Sign into your Webroot console and select the ‘Sites tab’ located up top.
- Click on the name of the site in question.
- Click “Group Management.”
- Click the ‘All Endpoints’ group located on the left of the screen.
- Select all endpoints from the list of endpoints.
- Click “Agent Commands”.
- Scroll over “Advanced”.
- Choose “Run Customer support script” and enter : https://download.webroot.com/913upgrade.sh
- Repeat this process for any additional sites.

Manual
Make sure you have the
- Download version 9.1.3 here: https://mac.webrootmultiplatform.com/production/wsa-mac/10.15/9.1.3.103/WSAMACSME.dmg
- Double click the .dmg file to open it.
- Double click the icon to start the installation process.
- Answer the prompts and enter the keycode when asked, the agent will install.
