Archive PST location
- Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
- Locate the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles
Note This registry key is one path. It has been wrapped for readability. - Open the profile that you want to modify.
- Select the following key: 0a0d020000000000c000000000000046
- Depending on what you must change, you must examine one of the following values:
001e0324
001e032c
001f0324
The location and the file name that are set in the Tools\Options\AutoArchive\Default Archive File folder map to 001e0324 in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and to 001f0324 in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.
The location and the file name that are set in the File\Archive\Archive File folder map to 001e032c in Outlook 2003 and to 001f0324 in Outlook 2007.
The following text is a sample section of a profile that contains two archive files that were set with these registry strings and values in Outlook 2003:
001e032c:REG_SZ: C:\WINNT\Profiles\Username\Personal\Archive.pst
001e0324:REG_SZ: D:\Myarchive.pst
Note: These values may not appear in the registry if you did not set initial AutoArchive settings.
